give thanks

I think we, the humans, tend to forget our many blessings. God didn’t have to make this world so good. Mangos didn’t have to be so yummy, trees didn’t have to be so beautiful, he didn’t have to make the sun warm, baby smiles, flowers, or rain. He just didn’t have to- But He DID. We live in a fallen world. We sin against each other and God. We live in a world where babies die and grown men blow each other up and people hate those who are different than themselves. But God. . . He made mangos. He sent his Son who paid for many, many sins so that my future and my right now is life. And I’m thankful.
