halloween recap
I hope your Halloween was fun and sugar filled. :)
I made Evie an owl costume (well. . .I bought the hat which kind of makes the costume. . .) and she was darn cute.
It is mighty hard to get her to stand still and pose for pretty photos. These are the best we got. I took her with the ladies from my small group and their kiddos to the nursing home to visit our friends there. Then we came home and went on a Halloween adventure with Jonathan. First stop on our walk was to visit THE Halloween street in Wichita. We happen to live 3 blocks away from this crazy awesomeness:
After dark it maybe gets a wee bit crazy up on that street. . . but at 5:30 it was perfect. We came home and visited our neighbors then passed out candy for the rest of the night. Evie seemed to get the right idea about what Halloween is really about:
I know that pic is super blurry. . .but too cute not to share.

Today I am thankful for starting my day getting to connect with a friend on the other side of the globe.
