kansas

When you live in Kansas (or probably most states in the mid-west) you know what it’s like to be traveling and tell someone where you are from. They usually say something like “oh” OR if you are really lucky they will reference the wizard of oz (usually asking about toto or saying ‘were not in Kansas anymore’). Here’s the thing. . . Kansas is beautiful. A kind of beautiful it takes a while to see. . . but beautiful none the less. Kansas isn’t obvious and in your face with huge mountains or beaches. . . but our sunsets? They are pretty awesome.

We were just driving home the other night when I snapped this. More nights than not this is our view. Just thought I’d let you know :)
