one year photos

I am getting a new camera for Christmas. . . because mine is awful and my Mom is awesome :) And because she is super awesome she let me borrow it for a few weeks (I have to give it back so it can get wrapped and put under the tree) so I could learn how to use it and take Evie’s one-year photos. I have a lot to learn. . . and some of these photos are not that great. . . but even the not quite in focus ones are great to me because of the expressions she is making in them.

Getting her to look at me was obviously a challenge. . .  most of the pictures I took look like the one below :) Sometimes I like the pictures of her whining or climbing over the red chair (there are a few of those I didn’t share) the best because I know when I look back at these  in 20 years. . . those pictures will be the ones that jog my memory of what our lives really were like at this season. . . and what being One was like for her.
